Luba Katatora Charm

Excellent Katatora charm from the Luba's. Such objects were typically used in order to make contact with the realm of the ancestors, in ceremonies of divination and fortune telling. The object has clearly been handled intensively, hence the beautifully smooth chestnut patina. High quality piece.
